With annual revenues of $7-billion, it is the most lucrative individual sports property in the world. The NFL Network, which manages the web properties for all 32 professional football clubs, hired Razorfish to build a single platform to host and manage web sites for each team.
The resulting Java/TeamSite based platform provides each club with a unique visual treatment, along with options for a variety of interactive multimedia widgets like audio/video galleries, real-time game information, player statistics, team rosters, etc. I managed a team of 6 front end developers in completing the presentation layer for integration with a complex technology stack, all within a particularly strained timeline.
