WESTPOINT STEVENS, INC
PROJECT DATES: March 2002 - August 2003
WestPoint Stevens was America's premier producer and marketer of quality bedding and bath products. The corporation hired Scenic Creative to completely redesign their web presence. The challenge involved three objectives that where identified during our exploration phase:
- Channel Fulfillment: drive consumers to WestPoint Stevens retail outlet stores, increase click-thoughts to partner sites for every featured product through polls ant tips, and highlight retail partnerships for private label brands.
- Create Demand: Streamline featured brands and retail partnerships through strong product presence, testimonials, tips of the day, and community features.
- Provide a Call to Action: Intuitive user interface and navigation provides satisfying experience for various user groups (consumers, investors, job seekers, partners).
This was a team project done with Scenic Creative. I was the principle Design Technologist, responsible for conceptual design development and presentation layer DHTML development for enhancing user interaction and rich media experiences on the new web site.
